Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

 I would like to begin by respectfully acknowledging the territory in which I reside and work as the ancestral homelands of the Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet), Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati (Passamaquoddy) peoples. I pay respect to the elders, past and present, and the descendants of this land. As a Mental Health Counsellor and a human of earth, I strongly oppose all forms of discrimination and racism. I promise to help in any way I can in the healing and reconciliation, to pay tribute to those who were lost, those who are among us today and those still to come.
